payment terms & conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all ticket purchases, sponsorship payments, and related transactions for events organized by Boldly Lead Africa (“we”, “our”, “us”). By making a payment, you agree to these Terms.
1. Payment Methods
● Payments may be made via our approved payment gateway (Paystack), EFT, or any other method specified on our website.
● All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase to secure your ticket, sponsorship, or service.
2. Confirmation of Payment
● A confirmation email and receipt will be issued once payment has been successfully processed.
● Tickets or sponsorship benefits will only be valid upon receipt of full payment.
3. Refunds & Transfers
● Tickets: Ticket sales are generally non-refundable, except as specified in the Cancellation Policy below. Tickets may be transferred to another attendee by notifying us at least 48 hours before the event.
● Sponsorships: Sponsorship payments are non-refundable once confirmed; however, benefits may be deferred to a future event at our discretion.
● If the event is cancelled by Boldly Lead Africa, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method.
● If the event is postponed, tickets and sponsorships will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled date.
4. Cancellation Policy
● Attendee Cancellations: If you cancel your ticket 14 days or more before the event date, you are eligible for a 70% refund (a 30% cancellation fee will apply). If you cancel within 14 days of the event, no refund will be issued.
● Ticket Transfers: You may nominate another attendee to take your place if you notify us at least 48 hours before the event.
● Organizer Cancellations: If Boldly Lead Africa cancels the event, all ticket holders and sponsors will receive a 100% refund. If the event is postponed, all tickets and sponsorships will remain valid for the new date.
● Force Majeure: Boldly Lead Africa shall not be held liable for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government regulations). In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be managed at the sole discretion of the organizers.
5. Pricing & Changes
● All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT (if applicable).
● We reserve the right to adjust pricing, packages, or offerings prior to purchase.
6. Liability
● Boldly Lead Africa is not responsible for additional costs incurred by attendees (e.g., travel, accommodation) in the event of postponement or cancellation.
● By attending, you acknowledge that event programs, speakers, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
7. Use of Images & Media
By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and for such media to be used for promotional purposes by Boldly Lead Africa. If you do not wish to appear in media, please inform the registration desk on arrival.
